Activities and Organization
Organization
General Meeting:
Once per year there is an annual general meeting. Activities and accounts for the previous fiscal year are reported, and plans and budget for the new fiscal year discussed.
Steering Committee:
Meets twice per year to consider plans proposed by the Planning Committee and general matters of IPC management. Five members in 1998.
Planning Committee:
Meets each month, with video conferencing, to create management plans and to set in motion the activities endorsed by the General Assembly.14 members.
Technology Committee:
Meets approximately eight times a year to discuss technical issues relating to IP standardization, padware development, pad distribution etc. Established in 1996, consisting of Prof. Tanaka (Hokkaido University) and 12 other members.
Secretariat:
Handles all IPC administrative work.
Working Group:
Is organized for some specific projects when necessary.
